What a difference in this hedge so far! I’m really looking forward to seeing this completed and the transformation it will be once it has been cut back some more and the top brought down to a reasonable height, making the pathway more accessible for those who have children and those who require the use of a wheelchair.

On my first job for today. The customer wanted the hedge stripped all the way back to the posts ready for a fence to be put in its place, so I got to work on it with my hedge trimmer and also my handsaw for the bigger branches that aren’t cut easily with my hedge trimmer, customer is happy so far with the work that’s been done.

One of the strengths that we have at Reid Gardening Services is that if a potential customer has a specific request that’s outside of what we advertise, we consider it and if possible, we say yes and this was one of those jobs.

The customer wanted 1 corner of her garden dug up, leveled out, and have membrane put down and chipped which continued throughout the rest of her garden.

So we got to work on it and the before and after photos speak for themselves with the customer being very pleased with the outcome.

Thank you to all of our loyal customers new and old for your support since the business started a few months ago.

Work has been coming in very consistently especially over the last two months and for that we are very grateful that you trust us to provide the best service possible and with that, there has been many challenges to overcome which we have overcome and we will continue to overcome in order to provide the best service possible.

If we have missed you over the last week due to the incredibly hot weather, you’re not forgotten!!! Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work our way through a backlog, your garden will be done very soon!

The good news is that our team is expanding as we have now been able to employ another driver and we will continue to expand as demand continues to increase and hire more people on a part time basis.

‼️THE NON DRIVER ROLE HAS NOW BEEN FULLFILLED‼️

We are hiring!

Due to an increased demand upon our services we are looking to employ 2 people to join the team from the Blaenau Gwent and Blackwood area for an immediate start.

No necessary experience needed as training will be given, all that is required is that you are teachable and hard working.

One of the candidates we are hiring must have a drivers license and access to a vehicle.

The other candidate can be, but not limited to, a school leaver or someone between the age of 16-18 who is looking for a hands on approach of what it’s like to work in the world.

Minimum of 16 hours per week with opportunity for more as demand increases.

Responsibilities include
Grass cutting
Bramble removal
Restoring overgrown gardens
W**d removal
Hedge trimming
Jet washing
