In a few weeks, I’m heading to Denmark alone with my bike, tent, sketchbook and pen to cycle 800km over three weeks.
I don’t usually share much of these adventures here. You tend to meet them afterwards, hidden somewhere in a poem, a painting or whatever else they shook loose in me.
But more of you have been asking to see the unpolished bits behind my work, and I’m wondering if this time I bring you along while it’s actually happening.
The 5am starts. The beautiful places. The camping. The days it all goes wrong. The emotional bits. The messy sketchbook pages. The poems whilst they’re still becoming poems.
So tell me, what would you actually like me to share? Or do you want all of it? Or maybe none?
I genuinely want to know.
