Laura is one of the Directors at Goodridge Electrical Contractors Ltd, supporting the business behind the scenes and helping with the wider strategic direction of the company. While she isn't involved in the day-to-day running of the business, she enjoys being part of the company’s growth and supporting the team where she can. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Management, which she completed part-time alongside her career.

Outside of Goodridge Electrical, Laura is a CEO within the Health & Social Care sector, in addition to being involved in charity work. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, wild swimming and spending time outdoors.

We’ve finished the reinstatement of an electrical infrastructure project on behalf of our client, SSG Contracts Limited, delivering a major LV power distribution upgrade designed to enhance reliability, performance, and long term operational resilience.

The scope of works included the full integration and commissioning of a new high capacity low voltage switchboard and high-voltage switchgear including substation transformers, supporting critical electrical infrastructure requirements while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, safety and operational continuity.

From initial delivery through to final commissioning, our team successfully managed every stage of the project with exceptional workmanship, coordination and attention to detail, ensuring a seamless and efficient project delivery throughout the entire lifecycle.

A special acknowledgement goes to our Senior Project Manager, Steve Utley, whose hard work and commitment were a major part of this project’s success. Steve led the project professionally throughout and put a huge amount of effort into ensuring the works were delivered to a high standard for the client.

We’ve recently completed electrical installation works for a valued domestic client at her beautiful Bothy in Herefordshire.

Our scope included the electrics, CCTV and data, and we're really pleased with how the project has come together. It’s always rewarding to see a space transformed into something both functional and inviting.

The Bothy is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful countryside escape while still being within easy reach of local amenities.

A fantastic project to be part of, and we wish our client every success with her new venture!

We’re pleased to have successfully completed another project for Ann Summers, this time at their Plymouth store.

Our scope of works included a full electrical upgrade and store enhancement, covering lighting, power, security, and data infrastructure.

Our first project with AM System Limited and what a result! We’ve recently completed works at Excess Baggage Company in Glasgow Airport, and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s turned out.

A big shoutout to our Project Manager,Karl Myers, for his hard work, continued support and dedication throughout. It’s been a fantastic collaboration from start to finish.
