The Erddig Youth Club was established in 1999 to provide local young people with somewhere safe and warm to meet up and have fun. The youth club is a partnership between Offa community Council and the National Trust. Our aim is to encourage young people to be good citizens by providing the opportunity to get involved in volunteering, looking after the environment and help each other out, all whil
st having a good deal of fun of course. As a voluntary club it is entirely self funded and is run by a team of dedicated volunteers. As a member of the youth club you can come along any Monday evening to the youth club sessions. We have a range of activities like cooking, crafting, sports or you can just hang out, play pool, table soccer or go on the Wii. We also have an allotment and a wildlife garden that we maintain and grow vegetables to sell, helping us to raise funds for trips. During school breaks / at weekends we hold conservation days where we help the Erddig Rangers, this could be clearing the river, fencing, footpath construction. Basically anything!
