🔧 An insight into a recent Samsung ASHP warranty repair…
Here’s a look at some of the steps involved in a full refrigeration circuit replacement on an Air Source Heat Pump following a significant component failure.
We were asked by a local heating company to assist with this Samsung ASHP after the heat exchanger had split, allowing water to enter and contaminate the refrigeration circuit.
With warranty replacement parts supplied by Samsung, the repair involved replacement of the full refrigerant circuit, followed by the necessary preparation, pressure testing, evacuation and recommissioning of the system.
Due to the original circuit becoming contaminated, the system was then recharged with virgin R32 refrigerant, fully tested and returned to operation.
