The color of the walls is an outcome of the soil available at site. So the building gets the color accordingly when using SMB or Rammed Earth. When the client expects a specific color, the soil gets sourced from a distance and it defies the purpose of an ecological building. As a client you can choose more consciously. Choose local choose lower footprint materials. Home for Sujay Udupa in the making with SMB blocks made at site from soil available and chapadi / Cuddapah lintels. -is-a-choice
