Handed over - 24 new home owners received keys to their brand new houses at a ceremony held in Opuwo earlier today. Urban and Rural Development Minister, Hon. Sankwasa James Sankwasa handed over the houses, marking the completion of the Mass Housing Development Programme in Kunene Region.

Arrival - Urban and Rural Development Minister, Hon Sankwasa James Sankwasa, has arrived at Otuzemba location in Opuwo, Kunene Region, where he will officiate at the official handover of 24 completed houses built under the Mass Housing Development Programme to deserving beneficiaries. NHE and Oranjemund Town Council Sign MoU to Accelerate Housing Development

The National Housing Enterprise (NHE) and the Oranjemund Town Council have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration and accelerate housing development in the Diamond Town.

The agreement was signed at the NHE Head Office by NHE Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gisbertus Mukulu, together with His Worship, Cllr. Pankratius Akwenye Kondjamba, Mayor of Oranjemund, and Mr. Jonathan Engelbrecht, Chairperson of the Oranjemund Town Council.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Thomas Shilongo, NHE Executive: Infrastructure Development, along with officials from both NHE and the Oranjemund Town Council.

This partnership marks an important step towards delivering sustainable and affordable housing solutions for the residents of Oranjemund.
