🥇GOLD AWARD WINNER | New Zealand Commercial Project Awards 2026

Remuera Gardens takes home Gold this year, a great milestone for the project and everyone involved.

Two new buildings have been completed at the Real Living Group owned retirement village in Remuera. Located on a flood plain and delivered through the challenges of the Covid years, the project required close coordination and a collective effort from the entire team to bring it through to completion.

Great to see the team recognised for the work that went into delivering this project, and an award well worth celebrating.

Thank you to Kalmar for entering the project, and to the wider team at Bluewater Project Management, CLC Consulting Group Limited, CMW Geosciences, DHC - Structural | Civil | Fire, Hagley, Holmes Group, Inhabit and MEPS Building Engineers.

A unique site, a number of constraints, and a good opportunity to make the most of what is there.

Designed for Citrus Living NZ the development features one standalone home and thirteen townhouses.

A warm and neutral material palette brings in a sense of calm into daily living.

We love the timber screen as a feature that gives the space a strong definition.

Morning light, open views and Paddington Reserve beyond.

Weybridge Crescent is designed around a simple idea: making the most of the view and bringing a sense of warmth and calm into everyday living.

Developed for Lighthouse | Crafted Places in Glen Innes, the homes are arranged in blocks of two, each offering two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

A soft and warm material palette runs from inside to out, creating a simple and cosy feel while giving the homes a calm and considered character.

To be completed in early 2027.

A glimpse from the drawing board: Private Residence, Beachlands.

A new family home taking shape on the drawing board, with a view to look forward to.
Arriving home, the double garage provides parking for two cars, with entry through the foyer into a spacious living area that opens out to generous north facing outdoor living.

The highlight is the view from the master bedroom. A Juliet balcony with bi fold doors allows the owners to enjoy the sea view while bringing a sense of the outdoors inside. With the doors open, the boundary between the interior and the outside becomes less defined, while still offering shelter from the elements. It also avoids the additional cost of a membrane deck.

A family home is more than just a place to live. It is where everyday moments become lasting memories, often shared across generations. Good architecture can play a part in shaping those experiences.

Meet the sisters: Solara and Lunara 🌙☀️

We designed this concept as two sides of the same coin, inspired by the rhythm of light and shadow, and tailored to the unique energy of their site here in Auckland.

Solara looks toward the horizon, embracing the warmth and expansive views of Rangitoto. Lunara sits in the quiet, reflective calm of the surrounding Lake.
Both are designed to feel less like apartments and more like a natural extension of their surroundings.

This project is a concept design study exploring the potential of the site.
