This garden has been a journey, from the first sketch to the 3D vision, to watching every block and plant fall into place.
We wanted to create something that felt natural, layered, and full of native beauty… and seeing it come to life at the Auckland Home Show was a moment we’re really proud of.

Let’s kick things off with Josh, our Sales and Business Development lead.

From the very beginning, Josh has been a driving force at Parrot Landscaping. He’s not just the person shaping first impressions. He’s the energy behind many of our successful projects.

With a positive mindset, can-do attitude, and a genuine passion for connecting with people, Josh thrives on turning challenges into opportunities. Whether it’s developing ideas with clients or helping our team push past limits, he’s always working to deliver more than expected.

Josh brings heart, enthusiasm, and a whole lot of good vibes to the crew. We’re proud to have him as part of the Parrot family.

And when he’s not out inspiring confidence on-site, he’s often accompanied by his loyal sidekick Roger, his close companion and a much-loved member of the Parrot office team - Roger 🐾

🌴 Design that grows with purpose 🌱

Behind every lush garden is a thoughtful design process.

For this tropical retreat, we started with a deep site analysis, from soil and slopes to sunlight and key views. Every planting zone was designed to match its microclimate and function:
✨ A native screen for privacy
🌿 A bold tropical core for that instant wow from the deck
🐦 Plants chosen to attract birds like the Tui
🌾 Side areas softened with palms, bamboos and textured grasses

No synthetic sprays, just good soil practices, mature plant selection, and regenerative thinking.

The result: a full, immersive garden that looks like it’s been there for years, but was built with intention from the ground up.

Yes, we design. Yes, we install.
Yes, we create living, breathing spaces 🌺
