Recently, we delivered a small multi-lot development on a tight Auckland site. Council scrutiny was high. RFIs kept coming. Coordination between consultants was critical. Instead of passing responsibility around, we handled the engineering, managed the approvals, coordinated contractors, and controlled the build on site.

🌊🏚️ From Flood-Damaged to Rebuilt – Mt Roskill Project Update 🏡💪

Two years ago, the floods in Auckland left this Mt Roskill property severely damaged. Cracks in the structure, ground movement, and safety risks meant it was red-stickered by Council and left uninhabitable.

✨ Fast forward to today, and look at the progress we’ve made:

🔴➡️🟡 Worked with Council to downgrade the sticker from Red to Yellow
📑 Prepared the design + lodged Building Consent
📝 Tackled a stack of RFIs from Council until we got it through
✅ Finally got the Section 37 lifted so construction could begin
🧱 Built a catch wall for stability
🏗️ Internal works strengthening to secure the home
🚜 On a steep hill – so we had to use a crane just to lift a digger and also all the material and poles to deliver on top up to start work.
🛠️ Continued retaining and strengthening works for long-term safety

Now, this once flood-damaged property is well on its way to becoming a safe, solid home again.

It’s been one of our toughest challenges yet — but seeing the transformation makes it all worthwhile. 🙌
