Unfortunately, we see this far too often. If a job isn’t done correctly from the start, simply applying extra coats of paint on top won’t solve the underlying problem.

To do the job properly, we often have to start from scratch, including stripping back the existing paint and using the correct primers and paint systems.

The time between each application is also important. We don’t rush the process. We take the time to do it properly and make sure it’s done right the first time.

Another beautiful three-storey townhouse completed! 🏡✨

We carried out ceiling skimming and extensive plastering throughout the entire home, followed by oil-based priming and premium top coats.

We also take great pride in keeping our work areas spotless and our masking is something we’re particularly proud of. No cutting corners - just proper preparation and attention to detail from start to finish.

Spring is here, and it's the perfect time to get your home looking its best.

After a long, wet Auckland winter, it's common to spot flaking paint, mould, or weathered weatherboards and trims. Warmer, drier days mean ideal painting conditions, so now's the time to freshen things up before summer.

Whether it's a full exterior repaint, a few rooms inside, or a quick touch-up, our team is ready to help.

Here's why it pays to book now:

Beat the summer rush. Our calendar fills quickly from November.

Protect your home. Fresh paint seals out moisture before the summer sun.

Enjoy the results sooner. Have your home looking great for summer entertaining and the holidays.

We’re in the middle of another large interior project - a full repaint, including skimming some of the ceilings to achieve a smooth, fresh finish.

We’ll carry on with the hard work, but for now, we hope you all have a great and safe weekend! ☀️🙌🏽

Our professional plastering team is in high demand! 👌

We carefully tape and build up the joints with multiple coats before preparing the surface for the final skim.

For a Level 5 finish, we apply a full skim coat over the entire wall or ceiling to create a uniform, ultra-smooth surface.

Depending on the condition of the surface, the process can involve several coats and careful preparation because we’re not satisfied until it’s smooth as glass and ready for a flawless paint finish.

We’re about to start another large exterior project. Part of the preparation, before we even put the scaffolding up, is for the power company to install a protective sleeve on the power line to ensure everyone stays safe while we’re working. ⚠️

Paint Can Add Value Before Sale 👀✅

Buyers form an opinion within seconds - often before they walk through the door.

Fresh, well-chosen paint makes a property feel maintained, dry and move-in ready. It removes doubt in buyers’ minds and helps them emotionally connect to the space instead of calculating future work.

The key isn’t bold colours - it’s balanced neutrals, clean trims and consistent flow throughout the home. Done correctly, painting is often one of the most cost-effective ways to improve perceived value before listing.

We regularly work alongside homeowners and agents to choose safe colours that appeal to the widest audience without overspending.

Thinking of selling? A short conversation can help you prioritise what actually matters.
