Spectrum Drainage & Contracting is a family owned & operated business that covers a wide range of Residential, Commercial & Public drainage, Earthworks & Civil works Auckland wide. We are on the lookout for Drainlayers, Skilled labourers, and General Labourers to join our tight-knit & hardworking team based in Kumeu, Auckland – although you won’t need to travel to our yard every day! For the right people, we can provide long term career opportunities with plenty of chances to upskill along the journey.

Drainlayers:
Our ideal candidate will have a Drainage qualification; however, this is not essential if you have the knowledge, experience, and a can-do attitude as we will also consider putting the right people through an apprenticeship.
Skills and Experience:
- NZ Drainage Qualification (Preferred, but not essential)
- Commercial, residential, or public drain laying experience
- Excavator operator experience (preferred but not essential)
- Great time management
- Be able to work well with and without supervision
- The ability to accurately read and understand plans
- Take pride in the work that you produce

Skilled and General Labourers
Our ideal candidates will be ready to hit the ground running, as you will be covering a wide range of duties. Experience in drain laying is preferred, however not essential if you are looking to excel and grow in the industry as training will be provided for the right people.
Skills and Experience:
- Machine operating skills/experience (training will be provided)
- Experience in general civil works
- A positive attitude with the ability to work well within a team as well as unsupervised
- Take pride in the work that you produce

We're on the lookout for a Truck Driver to join our team!

We’re a small but growing drainage company with a great team of people

We are looking for a Class 5 driver with at least 2 years experience to operate our brand new truck, alternating between towing a 3 axle simple transport trailer to move machinery and a Dog Trailer for tipping. The role will take you to and from various sites around Auckland, starting each day in Kumeu.

Starting rate $35 per hour.
