Singer Electric is pleased to announce our partnership with global leader ABB for an ambitious project – the electrification of Auckland Transport's (AT) ferry fleet.

This transformative initiative aims to revolutionize sustainable maritime transportation by introducing the world's first Megawatt Charging System (MCS) for electric and hybrid ferries. Auckland Transport's commitment to ferry electrification aligns with its emissions reduction targets, significantly cutting diesel use and CO2 emissions.

At Singer Electric, we're poised to tackle unique challenges with tailored solutions, including a turnkey E-house charging system that delivers an impressive 3.3 megawatts of charge at each site, setting a new industry standard. With an early project kick-off scheduled for 2023, we're excited to contribute to a more sustainable and efficient future in public transportation.
