SAME PIPERITE. LITTLE MORE ATTITUDE. 🟠🔵

Been having a bit of fun with the PipeRite brand lately.

Our original logo isn’t going anywhere — but we wanted something a little different for the hoodies, social gear and the less serious side of PipeRite.

A bit louder. A bit rougher. And probably a pretty good reflection of the crew behind it. 🤙

What do we reckon?

A DIFFERENT VIEW FROM THE OFFICE. 🟠🔵

Not a bad view looking out from inside the trench shield.

There’s a lot that goes into getting drainage in the ground at this depth — excavation, ground support, machinery, safe access, coordination and plenty of planning before a single length of pipe gets laid.

On this project, challenging ground conditions have made that process even more important, with the team continually adapting as we work our way through the site.

It’s dirty, technical and sometimes unpredictable work.

But this is the side of drainage we love. 🤙

GOOD PEOPLE BEHIND GOOD BUSINESSES. 🟠🔵

A little appreciation post for a few of the supplier reps who have been in our corner over the last 12 months.

As PipeRite has continued to grow, these guys have been a massive help behind the scenes — whether it’s chasing gear, sorting problems, answering the phone when we need something or simply helping us keep our projects moving.

Supplier relationships can easily become just purchase orders, invoices and deliveries, but for us there are some bloody good people on the other side of those relationships.

So we got a few of the new PipeRite hoodies made up with some new PipeRite artwork and handed them out as a small way of saying thanks for backing us.

We definitely don’t take the support for granted.

Good suppliers. Better people. 🤝🟠🔵

A LOT GOING ON IN A SMALL SPACE. 🟠🔵

Stack wastes, tempered, hot and cold water services and non-potable pipework — all planned, coordinated and installed before the walls and ceilings get closed up.

Prepipe is one of those stages where the finished product doesn’t necessarily look all that complicated — but getting there takes a fair bit of planning and coordination.

Routes need to work. Falls need to work. Services need to stay clear of each other. Other trades still need their space. And ultimately, everything needs to end up exactly where it’s supposed to.

Most of this will eventually disappear behind the finished building.

But getting this part right makes everything that comes afterwards a whole lot easier.

Nice bit of plumbing coming together from the PipeRite crew. 🤙🟠🔵

A WEEK IN THE WORLD OF PIPERITE 🟠🔵

Bit happening around the place this week…

New projects kicking off, concrete getting cut, the team smashing through prepipe, and the drainage boys moving some serious dirt on our civil works.

Throw in a collapsed bank to keep everyone on their toes, a new BurgerFuel project underway, a sneak peek at some new workwear with a few of our preferred suppliers, and apparently even the boss found some time to do some actual work. 😂💻

Then there’s the other side of PipeRite…

A few laughs, some questionable modelling for the camera, new hoodies and having a bit of fun with the PipeRite brand.

Plenty happening across a lot of different areas at the moment — but probably the coolest part is seeing the team enjoying it along the way.

Plumbing. Drainage. People. Culture. And a little bit of organised chaos. 🤙

Just another week in the world of PipeRite.

Good people make a good team. 🟠🔵

We post plenty about the projects, the machinery and the work going on across our sites — but at the end of the day, PipeRite is really about the people behind it.

We’ve got a pretty diverse crew — different backgrounds, different generations, different personalities and plenty of different experience between us.

But when we turn up to work, there are no egos and no individuals — we operate as one team.

Everyone gets stuck in. People help each other out. Knowledge gets passed around, everyone gets included, and there’s always someone ready to lend a hand when it’s needed.

There’s plenty of hard work getting done, but there’s also plenty of laughs, plenty of s**t being talked and a crew that genuinely enjoys turning up and working alongside each other every day.

We take the work seriously — just not ourselves too seriously.

Different people. Different strengths. One PipeRite crew.

Pretty bloody proud of the team we’ve got right now. 🤝🟠🔵

NOT ALWAYS AS SIMPLE AS DIGGING A TRENCH. 🟠🔵

A look at what our drainage team has been getting stuck into on one of our larger civil projects around Auckland.

Working at depths of up to 3 metres, the team has been installing large diameter concrete drainage, 1200mm precast manholes and working within trench shields and box shields to safely get the job done below ground.

Ground conditions have added another challenge, with areas of old contaminated construction waste encountered throughout the site. Following testing and the required controls, excavation has continued with all trenching undercut an additional 500mm to get back to suitable ground before rebuilding and installing the drainage.

It’s the sort of work where what’s underneath the ground can change the plan pretty quickly.

Plenty of excavation, plenty of coordination and some challenging conditions — but the boys have kept things moving and made some serious progress.

Civil drainage is rarely the cleanest job, but it makes for some pretty good footage. 🤙

We’ve shared plenty lately of what goes on below ground and behind the walls, so here’s a look at the other end of the process.

A throwback to this Signature Homes show home completed by the PipeRite team.

From the early plumbing stages through to the final fit-off, it’s always rewarding seeing everything come together — especially when the finished product looks this good.

A lot of what we do eventually gets covered by concrete, walls and cabinetry. These are the parts you actually get to see.

Good plumbing starts long before the finishing touches go in. 🟠🔵

We’ve recently kicked off the underslab plumbing and civil drainage works across a number of projects around Auckland.

From multi-unit residential developments through to large-scale civil drainage, there’s plenty happening well before these projects start taking shape above ground.

The early stages are all about getting the details right — drainage, services, penetrations and set-outs, along with the planning and coordination to make sure everything ends up exactly where it needs to be.

Once the concrete goes down, a huge amount of this work is never seen again. These drone shots give a pretty cool perspective on just how much goes into the ground before the finished project starts coming together.

Different sites. Different stages. Same attention to detail.

Because good plumbing and drainage starts from the ground up. 🟠🔵
