Earlier this week I delivered some of my paintings to . I absolutely fell in love with the gallery when I visited, and my work will now be represented there by Elisa and Richard. Not to be biased or anything but I think it’s a gallery well worth a visit! It’s located in Napier at 4 Hastings Street 🌞🌞

I’m having a showcase at Parrotdog bar!

Opening night is on Wednesday the 18th of March
5pm onwards. Everyone is welcome

Runs until the 29th of March - Take a breather from Cuba d**a over the weekend, pop by on your way to the airport, or come for a beer with your doggo!

Three original paintings will be available to purchase and I have limited edition prints too. Website page launching soon for the option to purchase online.

From my latest painting, Stanley and Sarah at the waterfront markets! 🤩🤩😊

🐾 Meet Stanley – Our ! 🐾
Say hello to the very slinky Stanley.
A spritely 11month old Whippet who is visiting for his 1st time with humans Sarah & Phil from Kelburn.
He’s pretty excited with all the new sounds and smells and new doggo acquaintances.
Stanley is originally from Murchison but is loving his life up here in Wellington. He is a calm confident soul which is a little uncommon for the breed. Favourite activity? Sleeping at home.
Sarah and Phil use to visit the market more often but have decided this is the year to get down here weekly for their produce and let Stanley enjoy the vibe.
They are also partial to a French crepe, something Greek and Roti Bays wraps. And of course, coffee!
They are learning that visiting with a dog is a little different to when they were here pre Stanley.
Stanley loves everyone, especially his amazing artist housemate Jessica Gurnsey.

I feel incredibly fortunate to be the national winner of the Stuff Art Aotearoa Gold Award for 2025! 🥹

Pursuing art can feel far riskier than most paths, and few artists I know have had a linear journey… I’ve had a share of disappointments too, but boy oh boy do those feel outweighed right now. I feel deeply humbled (Despite this massive & non-discreet gold cheque🤣)

Painting means everything to me. It’s the thing I’ve held onto through every high and low. This recognition reminds me to keep working hard and to stay grateful for the people who believe in me. Thank you to everyone who voted. Thank you to John and Kate from . Thank you judges Bob Kerr and Frances Morton.

And again, congratulations to the other finalists , , and - It’s an honour to have my work hung in parliament alongside yours 🌟🌟🌟

Art in the Park returns to the iconic Eden Park next weekend from the 18th to the 21st of September. A curated art show in a stadium setting, it'll bring together artists and collectors with artist talks and workshops over the weekend.
