🏆 SILVER AWARD WINNERS!
We’re proud to announce that Russell Gordon Contracting Ltd has taken home a Commercial Silver Award at the 2026 Master Brick & Blocklayers Excellence Awards for our work on Oaken Residences in Howick.
This was a great project for the RGC team, delivering everything from foundations and structural concrete through to blockwork and detailed brick veneer across five building blocks.
It was a project that required quality workmanship, careful planning and strong coordination — and we’re incredibly proud of the finished result.
A huge congratulations to our team and everyone who played a part in bringing this project together. 👏
Another great result for RGC — Quality from the Ground Up.

1500 blocks down and counting!

The base is coming together nicely at Tara Iti, Mangawhai, with the team pushing ahead and getting everything ready for the slab pour.

And with views like these, it's not a bad place to be laying blocks.

East Tamaki job for Fisher & Paykel coming together nicely.

5m high and running as long as the motorway — 38,000 x 200 series Firth blocks installed by the RGC crew.

Handled it all from block work through to pumping and placing the floor slabs.

A great rainy day job for the boys!

One of our favourite ways to elevate a concrete driveway is with granite insets. They break up large concrete areas beautifully and add texture, colour and a premium finish without overpowering the space.

Whether you want a subtle border or a bold feature strip, granite insets are an easy way to bring detail and definition to your exterior.
Thinking about upgrading your driveway? We can help you design something that stands out.
