Every bucket of soil seemed to come with another volcanic boulder.

One of the joys of working around Auckland's volcanic suburbs.

The drainage got installed, but not before moving enough rock to start our own quarry.

Leak located. Leak repaired. Water back on.
BOOM - job done! 👊

For this job, we connected tracer gas to the water line and tracked the escaping gas around the back of the property using our leak detection equipment. Once we pinpointed the area, it only took a small dig to expose the problem.

Found the leak, replaced the faulty fittings, then turned the water meter back on to confirm it had stopped spinning and the leak was gone ✔️

This wasn’t just a leak. The ground outside the wall was becoming saturated during heavy rain and pushing water into the room below 🌧️
