We had a great afternoon on Tuesday at The Rubber Roofing Company, hosting a short course showing the ARDEX Torch-On membranes. A massive THANKYOU to Rob Beets from ARDEX New Zealand for organising the event and to Bevan from Masterproof for showing off his skills and knowledge while giving an awesome demonstration of how to do the application of Torch-On!

As Rubco looks to expand into Industrial floor coating solutions (another range of innovative quality products from Ardex), we started with our warehouse floor. A huge thanks to the ARDEX New Zealand team who assisted in the painting of the Rubco floor, without them I could never have achieved it in a weekend.

Firstly, we got the team from Concrete Specialists to grind the floor, followed by a thorough clean and the first coat of R20, Friday done. Saturday saw the second coat of R20 going on and Sunday saw the third coat which was the R21 scratch resistant clear coat.

All in all, a great job, I would however maybe look at a levelling compound next time, although the small holes that the paint soaked into seem to providing traction for the hoist and staff.

Well worth a look next time you are in.

Along with self-levelling systems, crack repair, Polyurethane roll coat systems and of course WPM400/WPM170 liquid water proofing, together with WPM300 water-based epoxy polyamide. Rubco is placing itself firmly in the Industrial waterproof coatings marketplace.

It's awesome to be able to show some of the great work done by Joe George! This job was a 2m x 20m box gutter on a main roof that's about 1.1m - 1.2m wide including upstands with droppers and overflows from Allproof Industries . The materials used in this gutter was 1.5mm Butynol membrane from The Rubber Roofing Co. Group Ltd and WA98 Adhesive from ARDEX New Zealand
