Tree root intrusion inside the drain pipe

The drain pipe at this property in Ponsonby, Auckland was blocked by tree roots. The tenants were experiencing slow wastewater flow across kitchen sinks and shower drains. We were called to inspect what was causing the slow drain. Our crew conducted a CCTV inspection and found a tree root intrusion 2 meters away from the gully trap. After showing the footage to the tenants and property owners, we used our hydro jet to cut the tree roots. We then further inspected the drain with CCTV to find any potential blockages or tree roots. Once the inspection was finished we then ran a water flow test to make sure the drain flow was back to normal usage.

Tree root intrusion inside the drain pipe, Westgate

The tenants at this property noticed water draining slowly through the sinks and showers. They tried many DIY techniques without realizing what was blocking the drain. We were called to inspect what was causing the blockage. Our drain expert arrived at the location on time and we started with a CCTV drain inspection. 3 meters into the drain pipe we found tree root intrusion which was causing the block. Our crew then used the hydro jet to cut down the tree roots without damaging the pipe. Once it was done we further inspected the drain to make sure there was no more tree root intrusion and blockages. We then check the water flow to ensure the drain pipe was restored to normal usage.

Blocked eOne Pump Station in Brownsbay, Auckland

The drainage system at this property seems to be blocked as the wastewater water was coming out of the gully trap. The homeowners contacted us to clear up the issues as they were not able to use the kitchen sinks, showers, and toilets. Our drain technician as always, started with a CCTV inspection of the drain. We ran a thorough drain inspection but we didn't find any blocks inside the drain pipes. The best next thing to check was the pump station. When we checked it we found that the pump station motor was blocked by food fat. Due to this, the pump was not able to pull the water from the pump station to the council sewer line. We then used our hydro jet to clean the pump and removed the hardened food fat lying inside the pump station so as to further blockages. Once we put back the cleaned pump, it started pulling the wastewater from the tank to the sewer line, resolving the blocking issue. The whole job was completed in an hour. The homeowners were extremely happy with our swift service.

Emergency call out in Papakura

The drain at this property was overflowing because of a blockage inside the drain pipe. When we arrived at the location, the backyard was covered with wastewater and toilet tissue paper. Our drain technician ran a CCTV camera and found a large amount of toilet paper stuck inside the drain pipe. Due to this wastewater flow of their drainage system was blocked, resulting in overflow. We then used our hydro jet to cut through the blocked tissue paper shredding into pieces. After that, we ran a CCTV inspection again to find any further blockages. Once we made sure there were no more blockages, we tested the drain flow to make sure the drain is back to its normal flow. Pump Chamber Service in Green Lane

The pump chamber at this property in Greenlane, Auckland was not working. As a result of this entire drainage system of the house was blocked and the wastewater was coming out of the pump chamber. We got an emergency call from the property owner to fix the issue. Our drain technician arrived on spot within 30 minutes of the call. On inspection, our drain expert found that the problem is with the pump in the chamber. At this point, we realized that either the pump is faulty or something might be blocking the suction point. Likewise, a huge amount of debris like wet wipes and pieces of fabric was blocking the suction point. We then used our hydro jet to clean the pump and put it back into the pump chamber. When it was turned on, the pump started working immediately pulling the wastewater from the pump chamber into the sewer line and also resolving the drain blockage issue. Blocked Sewer Line in Henderson, Auckland

The sewer line of this property was completely blocked causing difficulties for the tenants. The tenants were experiencing severe problems like slow draining of wastewater in sinks and shower drains, foul smell, and, frequent toilet plunging. Upon request, we ran a CCTV inspection of the sewer line and found tree roots at the end of the sewer line where the sewer pipe connects with the council sewer line. We then used our special root-cutting jetter nozzle to cut the tree roots inside sewer lines. We also checked the inside of the sewer manhole to make sure the tree roots were completely removed. Once the tree roots were cleared, the drain was restored to its normal flow.

The stormwater line of this property in New Lynn was blocked with a concrete piece. With the heavy rain 2 weeks ago, the property's front yard was flooded. Collapsed Drain in West Auckland

The drain pipe at this property in West Auckland was broken. The tenants at this property noticed water coming from the ground. Initially, they thought it was a leak from the water main pipe. But they also noticed a foul smell spreading near the leak. We were called to inspect the reason behind this. Once we were at the location we knew that the problem was with the drain pipe. We inspected the drain pipe with our CCTV camera and found a collapsed portion of the drain 5 meters away. This often happens due to the old age of the pipe or ground movement above the pipe. We then replaced the broken section of the pipe, thus fixing the drain problem.
