The devil is in the detail
To enable us to provide you with a TMP (Traffic Management Plan) that’s fit for purpose, it’s important we have all the right information.
We need to know the working space, timeframes, number of vehicles onsite, and the full scope of works. All this detail is needed as part of the submission process to get council approval.
We must also independently verify the required safety zones - so understanding the required space is important to ensure that all bases are covered. For example, you may think that the work you are doing is restricted to a carriageway, however work often encroaches on footpaths and bus stops. This may then mandate pedestrian diversions or bus stop relocations.
Giving us as much information as you are able will not only help us to shape up the right plan but also make the approval process more seamless.
