We're thrilled to share that ๐—ช๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฎ ๐—›๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜€๐—ฒ has won the NZIA Southern Architecture Award for Enduring Architecture. The award celebrates the lasting impact of great architecture as well as excellence in design.

Designed as a composition of discrete elements carefully positioned within a dramatic alpine landscape, Wanaka House sits low in a gentle gully where it gains privacy and protection from the prevailing north-westerly winds while maintaining expansive mountain views. The full height glazing of the main pavilion is grounded by the solidity of the timber-clad garage and guest studio, while a sculpted gabion wall filled with local Cardrona River stones choreographs the arrival.
