Following a devastating fire, rebuilding the Rodney Rams Community Sports Club meant more than replacing a building, it meant restoring an important hub for the local coastal community.

Working alongside NZRL and key stakeholders, the focus was on delivering a fast, practical, and cost-effective solution that would get the club back up and running as quickly as possible. Using custom cold-rolled steel in a kitset-style construction allowed for efficient delivery while also creating stronger, better-built outcomes through non-traditional materials and smarter construction methods.

We’ve heard it all when it comes to misconceptions about architects, but cost is the one that crops up the most.

“Only people with big budgets work with architects” is an all too common myth. In many cases, in fact, the opposite is true: the right architect helps you get more from what you have. Less waste, clearer decisions, better outcomes.
