So pleased to see two of our wonderful team receive recognition at the 2024 ATT Auckland Graduation & Awards night.

True to his name and reputation, Fred Goodwin has had a good win taking home the Supervisor Award for 2024, and Des Karauna, who we are a Host employer to with ATT, won the Mico Cultural Mana Award. This award is for a person who shows a special strength and authority, and who shows special leadership and recognises diversity.

On the 19th of November we had two teams competing in the Rodney Coast Challenge. This iconic multisport race traverses the Rodney district from Woodhill Forest on the west coast, over to Wenderholm Regional Park on the east coast, and consists of: 10km forest run - 30km road bike - 25km mountain bike - 8km paddle - 100m run to the finish. The conditions were wet and wild this year with the older experienced office team claiming victory over the younger and spritely site team.

We encourage anyone interested in giving it a go next year to let us know, as it would be great having another team to compete.

Here’s the boss!

Excellent effort to Dave Henderson, Quix Commercial Ltd for winning the 2023 Training Leader of the Year at the 2023 New Zealand Plumbing Awards. Dave has been recognised for his commitment, hard work and dedication to people entering the industry.

Quite the sporty weekend wasn't it!
Congratulations to the the Black Ferns and congratulations to our own superstars who took part in the Rodney Coast Challenge on Sunday.

Office team VERY QUIX (Dave Henderson, Maurice Tusa, Nic Van Loggerenberg, Wyatt Raw) and site + supplier team TOO QUIX (Tommy Shanagher, Callum Dimond, Jason Whiteman, Norm Hiebendaal) did us proud. TOO QUIX finished in the top 10 of the Corporate Team Challenge, beating their bosses by 11 teams and therefore winning the coveted company 'PT' Cup which I will get around to having engraved eventually... there's whispers of a protest.

Thank you to Alicat for going along and capturing the fun for those of us that didn't want to go but were there in spirit.
