Stump Busters Hurricane — top dog in the yard — chewing through another feed 🦴
This one was a large pohutakawa stump at Takapuna Grammar School cleared to make way for their new amphitheatre. Once this old fella's out of the ground, the whole school gets a space they can actually use and enjoy.
Big thanks to our friends at TreeContracts for the referral — appreciate you thinking of us — and thanks to Takapuna Grammar for having us out.
26 minutes grind time, just under an hour on site start to finish. Working weekends to get jobs like this sorted fast and keep costs down, so everyone can get on with their precious time.
Price: $1,100+GST
We know that number can raise eyebrows for what looks like an hour's work — so here's the real picture. Replacing this machine costs the best part of half a million dollars. It runs on diesel, chews through cutters at $30 a pop, and the maintenance bills are eye-watering before you even factor in travel to site.
What that investment buys you: this machine is fast, with the highest and longest reach of any similar-styled grinder on the market and the deepest cutting depth going — we grind out the core of most stumps, not just skim the surface. The massive slew radius means surface roots get obliterated too, not left behind to trip someone up or wreck a mower.
So if you've got big stumps, bamboo patches, or overgrown hedge rows, there's really only one machine built to get it done fast, to spec, at a fair price — that's the real value proposition.
Stump Busters — big machine, small footprint, no fuss.
