Behind the Build | Herald Island by RYSE

The exterior combines full-height TriClad vertical cladding with bandsawn battens at 400mm centres over a ventilated vanity system, a FlaxPod trapezoidal roofing, Marley Typhoon spouting and new double-glazed joinery.

A carefully selected material palette designed to deliver durability, performance and clean architectural detailing in a coastal environment.

The kitchen is where craftsmanship is on display every day.

Designed around a bespoke Matisse kitchen and adjoining butler’s pantry, the two spaces are separated by a custom-crafted steel-framed door with reeded glass, creating a subtle division while maintaining light and connection throughout the home.

From the natural stone and bespoke joinery to the seamless detailing throughout, every element has been carefully executed to create a kitchen that is both timeless and tailored to the way our clients live.

We’re excited to begin showcasing this recently completed residence in Glendowie.

Designed by Vivian Chan and positioned on a spectacular Auckland coastal site, the home combines robust concrete and masonry construction with refined architectural detailing to create a residence that is both striking and enduring.
