An absolute last resort but effective.

We were unable to find this leak with traditional leak detectors including a heated diode and ultrasonic. Due to this the call was made to inject UV light sensitive dye into the system so we could pinpoint the exact location and make an informed decision on what parts to repair or replace.

The system was left to run for roughly two weeks and this was the outcome when removing the evaporator fan motors to expose this.

Simply “topping up” is never okay, which this system has had done a few times prior to us being on this site.
