For five years our Operations Manager Francis has been showing up every week to coach at Waiau Pa Wolves FC - a small rural football club affiliated with Pukekohe AFC, working with kids aged 6 to 12.

The club runs with little external funding and exists largely because people like Francis choose to give their time to it.

We are proud of the work our people do on the job and we are equally proud of what they do off the clock too, Francis is an exceptional example of what it means to make a difference to local communities.

Our team covered security for Marlon Williams at Trafalgar Venues and it certainly turned into one of the more memorable events on the Tasman calendar recently!

Our team had a fantastic night and the client was very pleased with how the whole operation came together.

An awesome effort from our Nelson team on the way you all represented Allied Security. 👏 Thank you to Trafalgar Venues, CLM and Nelson City Council for a great night.

We welcome another great shopping centre to our retail security portfolio, WestCity!

Meet Ryan - Ministry of Social Development NZ Auckland guard and now a national grappling medallist. 🥇

Ryan recently competed at the NZ Grappler Summer Slam Nationals in Auckland and earned a medal after two fights in the GI division.

He has only been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for a year and this was just his second time at this particular event, which makes the achievement even more impressive!

For those who know Ryan they know he is not someone who does things by halves, on the job or off it. He has been with us for four years as a MSD guard and goes above and beyond to help his team and those around him.

A huge congratulations on the incredible achievement! 👏

Matt joined our Wellington team in August last year as an Operations Manager. By December he had taken on the role of Regional Manager.

With 15 years operations management experience in the cleaning industry, it was a big call to make the move into security. But Matt found exactly what he was looking for at Allied!

On the role itself Matt says "I enjoy the variety and broad range Allied provides, no two days are the same." Matt is at his best when things are moving - leading his team and creating new relationships.

Outside of work you’ll find him enjoying nature outdoors, either with a fishing rod or a set of darts nearby.

Last week marked the end of 16 years of loyal and outstanding service from Moi Meki.

Moi has worked across multiple distribution sites throughout his time with us. Clients, colleagues, and management - everyone who has crossed paths with Moi over the years has nothing but good things to say, and we can see why!

When the feedback from the Cancer Society - Manawatū landed in our inbox following Relay for Life, it brought a smile to all of our faces.

Relay For Life - Manawatu has been bringing this community together for 26 years and over $305,000 was raised this year for cancer research and support services locally.

Playing a part in this special events means a great deal to us.

We are proud to being more than just a security provider in the communities we operate in. Putting our hand up for events like this is part of that, and our team made sure we delivered on it!

A huge congratulations to Cancer Society on the amazing achievement and to our team - well done and thank you.
