We're proud to announce a new partnership with ASB Bank, with our team on site across the branch network from this week.

Some very well earned news to share coming out of Waikato! Dean Christie has been nominated as a finalist for The New Zealand Security Association Patrol Guard of the Year Award.

Dean has been with us for 15 years. In that time he has become a very respected and well liked figure within our patrol operation, looking after a broad mix of national contract sites and local council facilities across the region.

Centre managers regularly take the time to ring in unprompted to commend his professionalism and the way he represents Allied Security on their sites.

Dean is a trusted mentor to newer team members and advocate for operational improvement. His experience and standards have helped shape the culture of our Waikato patrol operations in a positive way.

New Zealand's largest shopping centre has a new official security partner! 🙋‍♂️ 🙋‍♀️

As of today, we are proud to be looking after Sylvia Park Shopping Centre. A site with high foot traffic + a huge retail community and they need a security team who can slot into the environment quickly and become part of how the centre runs.

Sylvia Park is an exciting addition to our growing portfolio of retail and shopping centre clients across NZ.

It's an area of our business we've invested heavily in over the years, and one where our team has built a real reputation for delivering above the industry standard!

This is a big one for our retail security division and we're looking forward to a strong partnership ahead!

A decade in security is a real achievement and one definitely worth acknowledging for Adam Parker in Christchurch!

For Adam, it has meant countless of interactions with staff, visitors and the local community.

As Adam put it himself "I try to treat everyone the same. It's helped me with the thousands of people I've interacted with over 10 years."

That approach has made him one of the most trusted faces at Ministry of Social Development NZ Hornby and one of the longest serving members of our Christchurch team. Outside of work, he's a rugby man through and through.

Congratulations Adam. Ten years is well and truly worth celebrating, and we're proud to have you on the team.

A big couple months ahead as our team gears up as the official security provider for the New Zealand elections for the third year running.

The operation kicks off with 46 initial sites and expands to cover every polling booth across the country as October gets closer.

It's one of the largest logistical exercises we're involved in each election cycle, and something we're very proud to be part of!

If you're a Kiwi, take this as a reminder - get enrolled, get informed and get out there and vote when the time comes!

Across our retail security operations in Australia and New Zealand, we invest heavily in developing our officers well beyond the operational basics.

How they communicate, how they read a situation and how they support store teams through the more challenging moments of security.

That standard is what our retail clients rely on us for, from nationwide security operations through to single site contracts.

Yusuf, our Retail Security Specialist at a Coles site in Australia, is a great example of what that investment delivers.

Six months into a purpose built role combining loss prevention, staff safety and community engagement, he was named winner of the Community Hero Award at the Heroes of Retail Risk Awards in Melbourne last week.

❝ It took years of hard work, patience, discipline, sacrifice and overcoming major injuries. But my vision was always clear and today, I stand as a proud natural bodybuilding champion. ❞

Sam is a bit of a local legend at Ministry of Social Development Takapuna. Known for his helpful nature and always up for a friendly chat with whoever walks through the door!

For 15 years, Sam has chased a goal in bodybuilding, training through study and through work since he moved from India to New Zealand in 2015.

This year, he competed in the WNBF New Zealand Pro for the first time and won in his division! Sam becoming the first Indian athlete in New Zealand to earn a WNBF Pro Card in a drug free federation.

MSD Takapuna wrote a lovely piece about Sam themselves recently, and one part really stood out - Sam described the office as feeling like a second home, saying, "the entire staff is like family. I am truly blessed."

A massive well done Sam! This one is well and truly earned, and we are proud to have you on our team.

Our team provided security for the public meeting with Christopher Luxon and Blair Cameron at Annesbrook Events Centre in Nelson last week.

Events like this bring a decent crowd through the door in a short window, which means our people are managing access, watching the room and staying on top of anything that needs attention while the event runs.

It can be a lot to juggle, but as per - our team done a fantastic job. A great effort all round from everyone involved!

Feedback like this reminds us of the incredible work our frontline teams deliver! 👏

Our security team had spent an extended period supporting a challenging admission in a hospital setting, it is one small example of the work our people do across the healthcare sector in New Zealand.

The clinical team who worked alongside our team took the time afterwards to acknowledge the respect our team extended to the patient and whānau and the way they communicated so clinical staff could act early and keep everyone safe.

Really proud of our team, this feedback speaks to the standard our teams bring to every environment we work in.
