It's out! "Driller" book launch was yesterday and what a book it is - telling the story of our first 50 years. I think all the people who ordered their copies to be picked up at the launch won't be doing much today except reading!
Pictured below: President Zane Brown, author Peter Michel, Mel Griffiths who purchased the very first signed copy at our auction last year, and Steve Faulkner who has worked with Peter on our behalf. Copies ordered will be couriered out next week

The first time we’ve really made use of the variable track width on our Marini MR-C 20 rig. With the footpaths already formed on site, but backfilling either side yet to be completed, being able to reduce track width to 1m worked perfectly on this site with already restricted access. It did make getting down off the footpath a little fun though! ☀️

An early morning Saturday start to keep customer disruption to a minimum ☀️

This Penrose site suffers from flooding during the heavy downpours we are experiencing more often in Auckland. We drilled one soakage bore here, but also flow tested an additional four soakholes, making further drilling recommendations where required 🌧️

Sometimes we have to get creative with drill rig setup to ensure vehicle access for tenants is maintained. In this case the soakhole chamber was in close proximity to both the site boundary and building 🏢

Blue sky and some room to work with, can’t ask for much more in the middle of winter ☀️ A total of 74 x 150mm bores across this site, completed in two stages. And a total stormwater disposal rate of more than 1,500L/sec 🌧️ 🌧️
