What a difference the right lighting makes. 💡

One of our recent Auckland C*D jobs involved installing new security lighting for a client who needed better visibility around their property after dark.

The result? A much clearer view of the surrounding areas and improved security where it matters.

It’s a relatively simple upgrade, but one that can make a big difference to how a property looks, feels and functions at night.

A practical lighting upgrade that’s made a noticeable difference for our client.

A circuit breaker that keeps tripping isn’t something to ignore.

Circuit breakers are there to protect your home’s wiring. If they detect an overload or electrical fault, they cut the power before the wiring can overheat and become a fire risk.

An occasional trip can mean it’s doing its job, especially when several appliances are running at once. But if it keeps happening, or the power cuts again as soon as you reset it, there could be an underlying fault.

Don’t just keep resetting it. Have a registered electrician take a look. ⚡

Stair Lighting Inspo 💡

Good lighting isn’t just about what you see; it’s also about where you need it.

Stair lighting is a great way to add practical, low-level illumination while also creating a clean, considered finish.

Whether it’s recessed into the wall, integrated into the stairs or positioned to highlight each step, there are plenty of options to suit different homes and designs.

New Fluid Logic FluidLogic system mounted and ready to go in the J. A. Russell Ltd GR86.

We picked this up from Revolution Racegear Revolution Racegear in Aus and have to give a shoutout to Steve who helped us out. Super knowledgeable, took the time to talk us through everything and made sure we had exactly what we needed.

All set and about to head out for the 1hr at Hampton Downs.

Another commercial switchboard upgrade completed by the Valiant Electrical team.

This is one of those before-and-afters where the difference really speaks for itself. What started as a crowded, dated switchboard with a maze of cabling has been completely transformed into a clean, organised and professionally upgraded setup.

The comparison between the two photos shows the level of work that goes into an upgrade like this. Beyond the obvious visual difference, the new switchboard provides a safer, more reliable electrical system better equipped to meet the site's ongoing needs.

An impressive transformation and a quality finish from the crew. ⚡️
