🤢🤮 Owner mentioned the oven MCB flicked off and wouldn't reset.. Turns out loose contact with the main switch melted the MCB so much it would allow itself to turn back on..
Changed all 3 pictured and tested to find no faults.

Sparky's, always loosen and push back before tightening. Just because the screw loosened, doesnt mean the clamp opened!!!

This here, is the stuff of nightmares!!
If you have a weird burning smell inside your house, have a look at all of your electrical items.
If you find an outlet or appliance causing the smell, get it checked ASAP! May be an inconvenience to take the time to have someone come out for a small fee that may be nothing, but it's better than loosing everything. 🔥

Is one of your external ventilation grills missing its mesh?
This small detail can lead to big problems.
Without that mesh, birds can easily get into your ventilation system, building nests that block airflow and potentially cause serious damage to your ductwork.
It's important to replace this as soon as possible avoid these issues.

Morena everyone,
Had another job yesterday where one of the straps holding the main electrical supply cable to a house had completely corroded away.
Have a check if yours looks worn or give me a call to come have a look. Can't stress how much of an inconvenience this will be to you if the whole thing falls.
