A fun project we've been working on over the last few weeks in Port Underwood.

● 650m of new road cut in with beach access

● House site + Cabin site cut in/bench + filled
- (Pads are access to gargages, house and cabin will be built out on piles)

● Water control put in place,
- Large water table
- 375mm culverts spaced every 30-50m
- 1000mm culverts at creek crossing
- 600mm culverts offset from wet gulley
- Large silt traps on all culverts + recessed inlets.

● Base layer of AP65 spread over carriageway

Laying down some gravel in the K-Whoppa!

Recently we have been introducing our premium grade aggregates in to parts of the unsealed network - increasing road longevity and reducing wear/maintenance.

- Our materials offer reduced potholing, reduced corrugation, better traction/handling and braking for vehicles.

- Better weathering, sealing off and preventing mouisture soaking through in rain events. Ensuring the road surface stays hard, preventing heaving and soft spots occuring.

- Ability to handle large volumes of water, preventing road surfaces getting greasy and muddy through wet seasons.

- No round stones! This means our gravel stays in place and does not roll off the road or move around under vehicles.

Better long term results for road users.

Leathem Road Upgrades - Some recent works addressing problem areas.

- 4 x SN8 450mm culverts installed in low areas of road

- Additional water control (swale drains/cut offs)

- Road lifted approx 500mm and built to a standard to handle the heavy log truck usage using proper quarry aggregates (not river gravel)

- All culverts installed with large silt traps to avoid culvert blockages in the future.

Vineyard roading upgrades completed recently.

• 2km of new vineyard road cut in with the grader.
