THAT'S A LOT OF TRUSSES!

Our Te Miro project is really starting to take shape!

With some serious lifting power from the team at Redman Hiabs, all the roof trusses are now in place — covering a whopping 525m² of roof area!

The sheer scale of this build is becoming pretty clear.

A massive effort all round!

Next stop — getting a roof over it!

A little look inside our Fencourt renovation…

This 60s home is getting all the comforts of a new build! Fully double glazed, insulated throughout, with a ducted heatpump and a wood burner installed.

The GIB is up, plastering is underway, and it's all starting to come together.

Strong old bones. Modern comforts.

Now we’re getting somewhere.

All our new double-glazed joinery is in — cheers Duco Group Window & Door Manufacturer

Cladding is nearly done, brickwork just needs a tidy-up, then it’s colour time.

Inside: piped-out, pre-wired, insulated and ready for GIB.

Massive change already. Plenty more to come.

Roof on. Huge step forward at our Fencourt renovation.

The old roof is gone and the new long-run iron is down — completely changing the look of this renovation already.

Plenty happening underneath it too, but getting the house closed in is a massive milestone.

Another big milestone at Te Miro.

Structural steel is up.

Hot on the heels of our 375m² slab pour, the MDB Homes team put in another big push today to get the steel erected and this home is really starting to take shape.

A massive thanks to the crew at Redman Hiabs for helping us get it all safely lifted and into position.

Next stop — framing.

POUR DAY AT TE MIRO.

This is the kind of day that shifts a project from vision to reality.

375m² of slab.
68m³ of concrete.

One monumental pour.
Concrete trucks rolling in. Pump firing. Crew locked in.
Weeks of prep led to this moment — and today, it all came together.

Big day. Big effort. Big milestone.
The foundation is down. Now we build.

River Road is almost ready to come out from under wraps...

The exterior plastering is done, there are just a few final paint touches to go, and then the encapsulation comes off.

Inside, the lining is nearly complete too - the transformation is really starting to take shape.

This project is more than just a second-storey addition — the existing home is getting a full refresh as well, bringing the whole house together as one complete renovation.

Not long now until we can show you what’s been hiding underneath.

375m² of concrete incoming… this one’s getting serious.

Our Te Miro executive build is well and truly taking shape.

The slab is almost fully formed, 5 steel columns are in position ready for concrete, and the under-slab plumbing is all in place.

Next up: underfloor insulation, pods and reinforcing steel — then we’ll be getting very close to pour day. 👊
A lot happening now, and plenty more to come on this one.
