This Daffodil Day, we're standing with the thousands of New Zealanders and families affected by cancer.

Many of us know someone who has faced a cancer diagnosis. It could be a family member, a friend, a workmate, or a neighbour. Behind every diagnosis is a person navigating one of life's toughest challenges, and a community of people supporting them along the way.

At Aotea Waikato, we believe in looking after our people and supporting our communities. Daffodil Day is a reminder that even small acts of kindness, a conversation, a donation, or simply being there for someone, can make a real difference.

Over the weekend, members of the Aotea Waikato team travelled to Christchurch to attend the Aotea Group AGM and celebrate an incredible milestone, 50 years of Aotea.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with colleagues from across New Zealand, reflect on the achievements that have shaped the Aotea Group over the past five decades, and learn more about the exciting future ahead.

From insightful presentations and discussions, to the 50 Year Celebration Dinner and a behind the scenes look at One New Zealand Stadium, it was a memorable weekend filled with learning, collaboration, and celebration.

We are proud to be part of a nationwide network built on strong relationships, shared values, and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes for our customers and communities.

⚡ Lighting Up the Community ⚡

Over the past few weeks, our team has been busy delivering high quality sports field and public area lighting, helping create a space that can be safely enjoyed long after the sun goes down.

These photos capture just a small part of what goes into a project like this. From working safely at height and installing equipment, through to commissioning and testing, every stage plays an important role in ensuring the finished result performs exactly as intended.

It's always rewarding to see a project come to life, transforming from daytime works to a fully illuminated facility ready for the community to enjoy.

A huge effort from the Aotea Waikato team to get this one across the line. Great workmanship, strong teamwork, and another successful project completed.
