Bev Hopper is having great success after setting up her Flipping Timmy traps across her 3.5 acre lifestyle block. Thanks, Bev, for sharing your success!

Bev’s most successful possum lure combination has been cinnamon and apple. 🍎

Predator Free New Brighton. Big rat!

The eviction notice was served on rodents months ago but this unit must've come to the Eastside and didn't know we'd evicted its kin. The box is 400mm long and his belly is bigger than the entrance. Maybe they sent a heavy to gather the past occupants things? Lol the PB wasn't theirs sorry. 🐀 🪤

Stoats. Good explanation why we trap them!

DID YOU KNOW? STOATS ARE BORN WITH A HEAD START! 😳
Male stoats mate with both adult females and young kits, meaning females can already be pregnant before they even open their eyes.

Female stoats have 6 to 12 kits per year. This is what we are up against.

Thanks to delayed implantation, the fertilised embryos remain dormant until the female's body is ready for pregnancy to progress.

It's one of the remarkable reproductive adaptations that makes stoats such successful invaders, and absolute killing machines of our native wildlife. 🐦🌿
