Watch out Michael, the competition has arrived. 🦆

It's always great to see the "team" in action.

One of the best parts of an apprenticeship is the variety. Different sites, different challenges, different co-workers.

We're enjoying following Michael's progress throughout his apprenticeship, both on site and through his commitment to his bookwork. It's great to see him continuing to build his skills and experience as he works towards becoming a qualified electrician.

Keep up the great work, Michael!

Today marks Sam's last day with AMC as he trades Wellington's weather for something a little warmer across the ditch.

It's been an absolute pleasure having you as part of the team, Sam. We'll miss your positive attitude and having you around each day, but we're excited for you as you start this next chapter.

Not a bad spot to spend the day 👀

The team has been spending plenty of time on the roof lately, working on the installation of a new heating, cooling and ventilation system for one of our clients.

Project managed by Brad and led on site by Richard, the team also includes Sam, Dom and apprentice Michael. There's still more work ahead, but it's been great to see the project taking shape and the teamwork that's gone into getting it to this stage.

It's not every day you get to work with a view like this. 👏

A big thank you to Victoria and Jason from Signify for joining us at our monthly toolbox meeting and giving the team a look at just how far lighting technology has come. They showcased the huge range of solutions Signify now offers across different industries – from everyday warehouse high-bays and emergency lighting through to their impressive NatureConnect technology, designed to mimic natural daylight and a view of the sky in workplaces where access to natural light is limited. We also got a closer look at their 3D-printed fittings, manufactured in Australia, and learned more about the technology and sustainable thinking behind their design. Victoria and Jason also talked us through Signify’s growing New Zealand presence, including their Auckland warehousing and distribution network, as well as the addition of Pierlite to the Signify family, bringing with it a comprehensive range of emergency and commercial lighting solutions. A really interesting session for the team and a great opportunity to see some of the technology shaping the future of our industry. Thanks again Victoria and Jason for taking the time to come in!

Congratulations to our July Star of the Month, James 🤩

Another successful installation completed at Wellington Hospital.

Our team recently installed three new pneumatic tube stations within the new Blood Bank space on Level 8. This also included installing a new line to the pneumatic tube system within a controlled laboratory environment.

Working in a live hospital always comes with its challenges. With tight timeframes, careful coordination around hospital operations and strict laboratory requirements to meet, the team delivered an excellent result with minimal disruption.

A special mention to Ricky and Richard, who completed the installation safely, efficiently and on time. Their planning, communication and attention to detail were key to keeping the project on track.

A great effort and an excellent result, well done team!

At AMC, safety is part of who we are. We work hard to ensure everyone on our team, and everyone we work alongside, gets home safely every day.
