🏡 A pretty special build in Omaha! 👏

Great to see our Panoramic garage doors featured front and centre in this stunning Caroline Heights home, which has made the cover of a recent magazine article! 🤩

We're particularly proud of how these doors turned out, especially considering one stands over 3.5 metres high! Not your everyday garage door installation, with a few technical challenges to match! 🔧💪

Even better to see our doors showcased several times throughout the article.

A truly impressive build, and one we're proud to have played a part in!💪

Not all installs are created equal! 👀

We’re pretty proud of this one — successfully completing our tallest EVER sectional garage door, coming in just shy of 5 metres tall!

This monster is made up of a whopping 9 beautifully crafted panoramic glass panels, creating a seriously impressive finished product.

A door of this size required some special planning and engineering to make sure everything operated exactly as it should. It also gave us the opportunity to install one of the newest additions to the commercial market — the DAVE industrial door operator.

DAVE is built for serious applications, with huge lifting capability, instant torque on demand and smart technology that continually monitors and adjusts to the door to keep everything running smoothly.

It can also operate across both single and three-phase power, making it an incredibly versatile bit of gear.

A challenging job, a few firsts for our team, and one we’re bloody proud to have completed. 💪

It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout from local businesses across the region 👷‍♂️🛠️🏗️ and a great example of what can happen when local trades and service providers come together to support one another.

A big thank you to Damian Tuiloma and the team from MATES in Construction New Zealand for taking the time to speak and share such an important message with everyone in attendance. Damian delivered a fantastic presentation and helped spark some valuable conversations around mental health, wellbeing and looking after one another in our industry ❤️🦺.

The feedback from the night has been extremely positive, with new connections made, opportunities created and plenty of great discussions about how we can continue to strengthen and support local business throughout our growing region 🤝.

A special thanks as well to everyone who attended and contributed to making the evening such a success.

When a garage door isn’t balanced or running smoothly, every part is under extra load, especially the motor. Over time, that leads to wear, breakdowns, and unnecessary costs. A simple service keeps everything working as it should, extends the life of your door, and helps avoid those inconvenient failures when you need it most as seen in the below photo.

Here are three quick checks you can do yourself to see how your door is performing:

** Halfway test **
Lift the door to halfway (with the motor disengaged).
It should sit there on its own.
If it drops or rises, the springs aren’t doing their job and the motor is under strain.

** Noise check **
Doors should run smoothly, consistently and QUIETLY.
Grinding, squeaking, or clunking means something’s wearing out or out of line.

** Speed check **
If it’s slower than usual, something’s not right.
Could be tired springs, friction, or a struggling motor.

If your door is showing any of these symptoms then please call us or contact us below or give us a call (09)422-2299

Pretty proud moment for us today… we’ve just hit 200 Google reviews 🎉

Even better, we’re sitting at a 4.9 out of 5 average across those 200, which is something we don’t take lightly ⭐

Massive thanks to every client who has taken the time to leave feedback. It genuinely helps small local businesses like ours more than most people realise.

Also a big shout out to the team who put in the work on site every day 🔧 Good reviews only happen when the people doing the job actually care about the result, and I reckon that shows.

And if your door is starting to need a bit of TLC or you are thinking about an upgrade, take a minute to look at Google reviews before choosing who to trust. It is one of the best ways to see what a business is really like to deal with and don't forget to SUPPORT LOCAL!

Another great job wrapped up just in time for Christmas.

Our client had an exposed carport and had been given some pretty eye watering quotes from other contractors.
We stepped in, kept things simple, and delivered an awesome result without the stress including their brand new Dominator Somerset doors powder coated in a Fresh Appliance white finish!

They’re over the moon with how it’s turned out and ready to enjoy a much more sheltered space over the holidays.

Always good to hand over a job right before the big guy starts loading the sleigh.

If you’ve got a project in mind for the new year, we’re here and happy to help.
