Meet Richard Nash, Technical Sales Representative at Talurit UK.

"I have almost 20 years' experience in the lifting industry, and I have worked both with and against Talurit for most of that time - so I have known the company for a long time, and I have admired what it has become within the lifting industry over the past 15 years or so. When I was approached to join the team, I simply couldn't turn down the opportunity.

My role involves visiting existing customers, introducing new customers to our products, providing technical advice and growing our presence in the UK market.

What has surprised me most since joining is the warehouse operation. It is very impressive, the stock levels are excellent, and the customer portfolio is a lot larger than I thought.

A year from now, I would like customers to associate me with great service, and with someone who puts the customer first every time."

Richard covers the Midlands, the North West and Lancashire, along with Cambridge, Norwich and Suffolk. If you work with lifting equipment or wire rope in those areas, he is your contact.

Away from work he is a keen walker and a former amateur boxer - and once appeared as an extra in This is England '86.

Good to have you with us, Richard. 👏

The future of resin socketing is here!

In 1948, Talurit’s founder invented mechanical splicing, introduced the original turnback ferrule & changed how the world works with wire rope. Now we’re bringing the same thinking to resin socketing, one of the most trusted ways to terminate a wire rope. But mixing, storing & shipping the resin have held the industry back for too long. So we set out to fix it.

This is TALULOCK®:

→ Type-approved by DNV to DNV-CP-0095 & DNV-OS-E304
→ Meets the performance requirements of EN 13411-4 & ISO 17558
→ 100% termination efficiency
→ No carcinogenic constituents
→ No respiratory protection needed
→ Simple to use with pre-portioned kits & a clear process
→ 30 months shelf life, no cold storage
→ Can be cast in stages: easily top up a cone with a separate kit
→ Non-flammable, suited for air freight & express shipping
→ Made in Sweden

We could go on. But you get the message: this is the new standard in resin socketing.

See it. Track it. Trust it. 👌
Concentrated stress is the enemy of every wire rope termination. The Talurit® ESP end stop combines a slightly conical bore with a chamfered surface. Together, they distribute stress evenly over the swaged section instead of letting it build up at one point. Made for rotation-resistant wire rope on mobile cranes, specialized housing installations & more.

→ Validated according to EN 13411-8, tested on 35(W)x7 rope, grade 1960
→ Inspection hole: check the rope’s dead end at a glance
→ RFID-ready: identify & track each termination
→ Pad eye for added versatility
→ Made in Sweden at our ISO 9001-certified facilities

Not sure it fits your housing? Send us your dimensions & our technical team will help you confirm the fit. Read more & request a quote: https://www.talurit.com/p/ferrules-fittings/esp-carbon-steel-end-stop/
