A BIG & GIANT shout-out 📣 to Jaime & Curt!! These two incredible guys jumped into action and FAST Thursday morning! A FedEx delivery...driver behind the truck with our package...his truck begins to roll away🤯. A whole lot happened at once including the FedEx driver grabbing onto his truck getting pulled and dragged/rolling along with his truck right at the time Jaime & Curt see this happening and they run! Curt pulls the FedEx driver out from under the truck keeping him from getting rolled over and Jaime made a fast beeline to the door got in safely...all the while the truck was gaining momentum!! Jaime got the truck stopped before rolling into two of our seal trucks head on that were parked!! Not to mentioned it missed the 5 other trucks parked along the building!
Way too close of a call in so many ways!! Thank you‼️ Jaime & Curt for your quick actions🎯!!

This week's Estimator SPOTLIGHT is on Josh Martin.

5 years ago March of 2020, Josh joined Bartelt Enterprises, Inc.!!🎉🎉
Josh came to Bartelt Enterprises, Inc. as a Sales Estimator with a wide array of Asphalt Paving & Maintenance estimating experience. Josh is very friendly, as well as knowledgeable & successful. Josh is very detailed and provides excellent customer experience and follow through. Josh manages a large clientele base and is always willing to take on more!!

While we do not have a photo of Josh, you will see Josh out and about bidding for businesses & residential properties year round. During the January and February months, if you attend the Home Improvement/Home Remodeling Expos in Madison each year, you will have likely seen Josh there, too!

19 years ago in April of 2006, Jim joined Bartelt Enterprises, Inc.!!🎉🎉

Jim came to Bartelt Enterprises, Inc. as a Sales Estimator. Jim is a very knowledgeable, successful & detailed Sales Estimator. He has a large clientele he manages on a regular basis and is always willing to take on more!!

During the January and February months, if you attend the Home Improvement/Home Remodeling Expos in Madison each year, you will have likely seen Jim there!

📣Estimator SPOTLIGHT week📣!! We will be honoring each of our 5 Estimators...1 each week until we've highlighted each one of them!

This week's Estimator SPOTLIGHT is on Matt Sauer.

20 years ago in September 2005, Matt join Bartelt Enterprises, Inc.!!🎉🎉

Matt started as an Asphalt Laborer and worked in that position for 2 months, then getting promoted to the position of a Roller Operator. Matt worked as a Roller Operator for the next 3+ years.

In 2009 Matt promoted into Sales Estimating. Matt has been in Sales Estimating & selling driveways and parking lots for 16 years, and still going strong📣!

Matt attends the World of Asphalt and other Paving Conventions to stay up to date in the current trend of Asphalt Paving & Maintenance!

During Matt's spare time he enjoys spending time with family and friends. He's a Cubs fan but for the rest of this year he'll be routing on the Brewers!! Matt is a youth bowling coach. He's been teaching young people bowling & helping improve their skills for 12 years!

Matt's smile and positive attitude will brighten your day!! 😃

This week's Estimator SPOTLIGHT is on Karen Homewood.
Karen came to Bartelt Enterprises, Inc. with over 25 years of experience in the asphalt industry, She's owned and operated an asphalt maintenance company, gaining hands-on and management experience. After a season on a paving crew, she moved to a large asphalt manufacturer, specializing in bidding roads and commercial projects.
For the past five years here at Bartelt Paving Enterprises Inc., she's enjoyed helping customers with complete asphalt and maintenance solutions and helps her customers map out future work that may become necessary so they can adequately plan their budgets!!

Please give a round of congrats to Karen and let us know if she's your asphalt estimator, or if you've met her! She's very knowledgeable and incredible to work with! If you get to the Home Improvement Shows in January and February each winter, you'll likely have seen Karen there helping represent our company in Madison over the winter months!!

This weeks Estimator Spotlight📣 - John Bartelt - 🎉30 years🎉

In 1996, my two older brothers were starting a company they decided to call Bartelt Enterprises, Inc. I was working as a foreman for a landscape company at the time and planning to head back to college, but they asked if I join them!

I have worn many hats * pave crew supervisor * maintenance division manager * sales estimator * paving division manager * sales manager * and then sales estimator once again.
Fast forward 30 years...I am finishing my last year at Bartelt Enterprises, Inc. and am ready for a new career and a new place to settle down and call home. God has also blessed me with a wonderful wife and three beautiful children who are mostly grown up now. Please know that whatever your needs, Bartelt Enterprises, Inc. will continue to treat you like family. I will miss all of you, both customers and co-workers and hopefully will bump into some of you from time to time when I am back visiting in this neck of the woods.

Please help us congratulate John in his years of service with our company and to his future endeavors!! We will miss you here, John!!
