Earthbound is Eau Claire & Altoona's only 100% LOCAL choice for curbside garbage, recycling, and organics (aka compost) disposal.

With the “Forward” motto of this great state we believe that now is the the time to dramatically change the landscape of waste management services. Locally, our community needs are changing and with those changes come inherent challenges. Recognizing the need for a larger landfill diversion program, the team at Earthbound started work in 2012 to bring an organics recycling program, in combination with traditional waste management services (garbage and recycling), to the Chippewa Valley. Earthbound is proud to support our Eau Claire and Altoona neighbors, both residents and businesses alike. Our company was founded in 2014 based on our passion to preserve our Earth and our community. At Earthbound, we are more than just a garbage company, we are a community partner. We care because this is our local community where our families and friends live and where we have chosen to build our lives. We see an abundance of potential within all community members, many of whom already share our same passion. Also, as patrons of our local businesses we want to help business owners have a greater choice on how they impact their community.

Come for the cocktail and stay for the conversation next Thursday at the The Brewing Projekt.
We are EXCITED for our team to share the story behind the movement! Join Jamie and Zacharious for an evening discussing missteps, mishaps, and the tireless journey to help our community reimagine waste management.

Plan to join us for the 2026-27 Musky Tank Mixer Season Opener! November 5th, 2026, 6-8pm at the Brewing Projekt. End the StartUp Chippewa Valley Day with a great discussion with Jamie and Zach Pappas, as they talk about how they started up their business, Earthbound Environmental Solutions, and what they have learned in ten years of business.
