Updating your home is like spring cleaning. Sometimes we want a fresh look or a different vibe with a certain room or feature in our home.
This customer invited me back to her master bedroom to create a different experience. She wanted an arch built separating her bedroom from this nook to give it more character and separate feel. So we added a complete separate wall with trim moldings to match the existing. We also cleaned up the existing and repainted everything.
When I got there, the windows had blinds on them and drapery that gave a dull and gloomy vibe.  to my surprise, she hired a decorator for advice and ask me my thoughts. I told her I can make that happen and reinforced the vision with clarity. It’s now a beautiful space to sit and read or take a nap and allow all the natural sunlight to come in and the beauty of landscaping, the backyard and the river to flow through her bedroom. She will be updating the chair cushions and her bedding to match the blue color of the walls.
