🌙 Clocks go back Sunday. After that it's dark before supper.

🌫️ Foggy morning on the lake and a hole in the ground. This is the part nobody photographs.

🍂 Every fall there's a last good week to put a service underground. We're in it.

Meter base, disconnects, feed trenched in and backfilled clean — no overhead wire crossing the yard, nothing to ice up or come down in a January storm. Once the ground sets up, this job waits until spring.
