💧 The water test: Does your natural stone need to be resealed?

It’s easier to check than you might think!

Drop a little water on your granite and watch what happens. If the water starts spreading out or soaking into the stone, leaving a darker spot, it may be time to reseal.

The good news? Resealing is quick and easy! A little maintenance can go a long way in protecting your natural stone.

Some of our team had the opportunity to tour Coldspring’s incredible facility, from seeing a Minnesota granite quarry firsthand to learning about the many ways they work with natural stone.

Did you know Coldspring creates monuments, building cladding, and even recently installed the stone for the White House helipad?! How cool is that?!
