Proud of our crew today. From the climbers high above the canopy to the ground team below, everyone stayed locked in protecting the home, structures, landscape, and each other while safely trimming and removing these massive trees.

This work takes trust, communication, experience, and precision. One wrong move can change everything — but today the team showed professionalism from start to finish.

One of the best parts of serving as an Ambassador with the Metroport Chamber is meeting leaders who are moving our community forward.

At a recent Business Builder’s Coffee, I met Michelle Gregory, Executive Director at Mid Cities Women’s Clinic. From the first conversation, Michelle was welcoming and genuine—we swapped stories about faith, leadership, and serving people well.

That same day, I received a follow-up from Denise Epp, Senior Director of Development: an invitation to learn more about their Man2Man program (equipping dads to lead with strength) and a request to provide a landscape quote for their facility.

This is the power of showing up with authenticity. A handshake and a real conversation turned into a chance to serve an organization that has been a Christ-centered anchor since 1984—offering complimentary medical care, counseling, education, and hope to women and families. First impressions matter; so do relationships. Landscapes shape entrances, but trust shapes lives.
