Operation Build
Progress on our Friends of Missions current project
For 20+ years, Gust Construction has built homes. We know the precise sound of a nail gun anchoring a frame, we’re familiar with the clean smell of freshly cut wood and we love that moment when what once started as a shell is transformed into a forever home. Over the years we have built homes for many customers, first time homeowners, young families, elderly families, retirees, and we love building for all our customers…but this project is different.
This project is not for profit. This project is for hope.
Operation Build first started in 2024. Gust Construction decided to use it’s craft for something bigger, determined to build a home, sell it on the open market, and donate every single penny of the profit to support organizations, both locally and abroad. Our enthusiasm was contagious. Soon, the community rallied, our vendors and subcontractors, our friends and families, all pitching in and donating supplies and services. The build site is less of a workplace and more of a sanctuary. Every nail driven into the wood feels like an investment in helping the fight against human trafficking, helping kids in Foster Care, spreading hope in Honduras, helping recovering addicts.
With your help we’re not just building a physical house of wood and stone. We're building a foundation of hope that will change lives for many children, individuals and families.
