As temperatures start to drop, animals such as rats, mice, and squirrels begin looking for the same things: warmth, shelter, and easy access to food. That’s why attics, basements, crawl spaces, garages, and wall voids become much more appealing this time of year.
If you’re hearing scratching in the attic, noticing droppings, spotting gnaw marks, or seeing activity around your home, it may be a sign that unwanted fall guests are trying to move in.
The earlier you catch the signs, the easier it is to keep a small problem from turning into a bigger one.
