Take a Look Tuesday | The Art of the Garden

A closer look at the details that make the landscape feel layered, private, and full of charm.

An arched garden gate creates a framed view into the pool courtyard, while clipped evergreens and climbing greenery soften the architecture throughout the property. Brick edging and low retaining walls add structure to the pathways, and stepping stones, natural stone, and subtle landscape lighting create inviting transitions from one outdoor space to the next.

At the center, the pool and pavilion create a secluded retreat that feels both polished and comfortable.

Take a Look Tuesday | Beyond the Garden Gate
A closer look at how much of the design is carried through the details.

Curving brick walkways soften the formal architecture, while layered boxwoods and flowering plantings create structure without feeling rigid. Garden gates and framed pathways add a sense of discovery as you move through the property, leading from the front landscape into more private outdoor spaces.

In the backyard, those same thoughtful transitions continue with built-in cooking space, generous hardscaping, and a pool area designed to feel like a natural extension of the home.

Take a Look Tuesday | A Grand Approach

It’s the details that give character.

Layered greenery creates structure throughout the property, while softer plantings add texture and contrast. Curved pathways guide you through the landscape, a garden gate creates a natural transition into a more intimate space, and thoughtful touches like the lanterns and framed garden views bring warmth and personality to the design.

Each element has its own purpose, but together they create a landscape that feels established, intentional, and connected to the home.
