We had a customer looking to free up some space. Recommend this Rinnai tankless water heater with a built in hot water recirculation system. It was exactly what he needed to suit his specific needs. Now he has endless hot water immediately, at the far end of the house, where he used to have to wait for hot water. This is a 3 year-old salt tank from a water softener. Whenever we install a water softener, we strongly suggest using Morton brand salt. It is the cleanest salt with the least dirt. This is a perfect example of somebody that wanted to use cheap salt. This dirty water will not clean your water softener very well! Always remember to monitor the salt in your salt tank, do not let it run out of salt and use Morton salt !!!!

We removed these two 23 year old water heaters today (light ones on the left). Cleaned up some of the unnecessary piping , and replaced them with two Rheem 50 gallon power vented units. Plenty of hot water at this house for years to come!! Check the age of your heater and consider replacement before it becomes an emergency!! Great job Nick and Kasey!

We were called to a customers house, because she had no water at the kitchen faucet. Faucet was compacted with rust and so was her 20 year old softener! We installed this awesome Marlo unit (made in Racine , WI) for her. Softeners will still function and clean themselves, but they do not last 20 years! If you have an older unit and would like it tested , give us a call!!!

Let’s play name that Plumber!!

Hint, this plumber has been with The Plumbing Works for about 10 years.

The trick that we didn’t share with him was…. Don’t get so good at plumbing, that you are the one that has to go into these tight crawl spaces! Others act like they don’t understand how to pipe that situation, so they don’t have to go into these near impossible spaces!!!
