By prebuilding the window boxes first, the painting could get done cleanly, then everything could come back in for install. Small planning decisions like that save time and make the finish work go smoother.

We’re back at Bill’s Place, where this garage is being transformed into two full apartments.
This isn’t a cosmetic update. The space has had to be completely reworked to become functional, comfortable, and ready to serve as real living space.
There’s still more to do, but the progress so far shows just how much thought and work goes into a transformation like this.
