Michael Oremus and his family have been in the concrete business since 1948 founding Prairie Material with just three trucks, a load of stone, and a ton of ambition. Over the years, Prairie Material grew to be one of the largest family-owned and operated producers of ready-mix concrete in the Midwest with over 100+ locations and 1,200+ trucks. In 2007, just prior to the sale of Prairie Material, M

ichael headed west in pursuit of a dream. He began Oremus Material with a vision to bring the same quality products and superior service to the Tucson market. Over the years, Oremus Material has partnered with many contractors to bring about projects like the Twin Peaks Interchange, the Santa Cruz River Walk Path, the University of Arizona Residence Hall, ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover, the REI Building, Tucson's Modern Streetcar, The Level, and The Hub, just to mention a few.

💙 Autism & Special needs families, we would LOVE to have you join us at this super fun family event where our OMI autism concrete truck will proudly be💙

On Sunday, September 20th from 12–3pm, BridgeTogether Foundation & Revved Up Womens Car Club are hosting a FREE Family Fun Area at the Autumn Car Show at The Monte Bello Estate in Lemont!

We’ve planned this part of the event with autism and special-needs families in mind, so please come as you are and enjoy a fun, welcoming afternoon together. ❤️

🚂 Trackless train rides around the beautiful Monte Bello grounds, and yes, adults can ride too!
🏰 Bounce house for little kids + inflatable obstacle course for bigger kids
🎪 Carnival games & activities
🍦 Rainbow Cone ice cream!
🦇 Batman & Batgirl with the Batmobile (!!!!!) with FREE photos! batman
🚗 Plus, of course, tons of amazing cars to walk around and see!
🛻 Oremus Material’s autism concrete truck

The event and activities are FREE, the only cost would be if you choose to purchase food from one of the food trucks.

BridgeTogether raises money to help autistic children attend inclusive summer camps, so this is an event especially close to our hearts. 💙 all proceeds from this day go to BridgeTogether

Bring the whole family!! We would truly love to see our autism and special-needs community there! 🤗
