Thanks to the incredible generosity of the FloydFest Family, our Huss & Dalton Guitar Company guitar raffle raised nearly $7,000 to support The Pride of Floyd County as they join the Rural All-Star Band and march in the Dunkin' Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philadelphia on November 26, 2026. 🥁🎺

We're proud to partner with our friends at Huss & Dalton Guitar Company in supporting opportunities that put music and the arts directly into the hands of young people. 🎶

Together, we believe that nurturing creativity, providing meaningful experiences and giving students the chance to share their talents beyond their hometowns can leave a lasting impact. ❤️

🌱♻️ Our green is our gold.

Being good stewards of FestivalPark and the land that makes FloydFest possible is fundamental to what this festival is all about. Our partnership with Zero Waste Event Productions continues to help us put that commitment into action.

At FloydFest 26~Daydream, we diverted 26,298.20 pounds of material from the landfill, including:

♻️ 8,200 lbs. of cardboard
♻️ 5,000 lbs. of mixed recycling
🥫 1,980 lbs. of aluminum cans
🌱 11,118.20 lbs. of compost

Our compost was sent to Star City Compost in Roanoke, with hopes that this year's material can eventually help landscape next year's FestivalPark.

From reusable pint glasses and compostable vendor products to thoughtful waste diversion, we're proud of the progress we're making together. Every year is another opportunity to leave this place a little better than we found it. 💚

🎉 Happy birthday to the one and only Sam Calhoun! 🎂

The man with the plan, the vision and approximately 46 ideas happening at any given moment.

Across-the-Way Productions — and FloydFest — simply wouldn’t be what they are without Sam’s enormous heart ❤️, relentless energy ⚡ and slightly unreasonable belief that if we dream it up, we can probably figure out how to make it happen. 🌈

Thanks for keeping us dreaming bigger, pushing onward and building something pretty damn special year after year. 🏔️✨

Help us wish our fearless leader, chief instigator and favorite mountain-maker a very happy birthday!

Happy Birthday, Sam! 🥳🎉
